Home & Furniture
Everything for your home
Harry and the Beagle specialises in the reupholstery of items such as chaises, chairs, sofas and stools in order to update, restore and ultimately relove.
Free collection and delivery within the local area offering a totally bespoke service tailored to customer’s taste, needs, requirements. Restoration and full reupholster of antique pieces also taken on.
The ethos behind Harry & Beagle is not to throw away the chair that no longer goes with your new decor, or that looks a bit worn, or that the cat has mauled to smithereens, but ask me to give that poor chair a lovely make over and you’ll find you love it all over again! The best part is, you can be the designer of a totally new piece of furniture so that it fits perfectly into your home.
Our aim is to minimise waste and discourage any trips to the tip!
Pig & Poke offers a unique and inspiring experience in the heart of Caistor Market Place. We are a Home Interiors and Gift Shop with our very own Coffee Bar!
Join us for locally homemade cakes, tea, coffee and cold drinks. Our little grey shop is cosy and relaxed allowing you to sit back, enjoy the tasty treats and browse our products. We have outdoor seating, making it perfect on a sunny day and a good drop in for small groups of cyclists and walkers.
I have been buying striking, previously loved (vintage & antique) and unusual stuff for the home for over a decade. I have also been successful in persuading a wide range of mainly sane and rational folk that they need this stuff in their homes, and are prepared to pay money for it too. Until now, you usually had to go to a local antique centre to have a look – I will still trade from Louth and various parts of Hemswell Antique Centres. But from September you will be able to find a selection of my treasures at Unit 2, Hillcrest Park, at Caistor Top, off the A46 LN7 6TG.

Come up and have a look – take your time – cafe next door!
2016 brought a move to the beautiful little town of Caistor, on the north-western corner of the Lincolnshire Wolds, where I have opened my little purple shop ‘Paisley & Rose’. I now indulge my love of all things colourful and have crammed the shelves surrounding the fabrics with an eclectic mix of quilts, rugs made from cotton, jute and wildly bold woven rags, cushions and handmade gifts, which, as far as possible, are carefully sourced from fairtrade suppliers.
When sourcing fabric stock I tend to buy natural cottons and linens, suitable for curtains, blinds, loose covers and soft furnishings. For upholstery I seek out heavier woven patterned and plain linen mixes and chenilles, many with fire retardant backings – ideal for reupholstering a tired sofa or armchair.

I am Joe Thompson and I love cleaning silver, brass and copper.
You probably don’t, so let me do it for you.
It doesn’t matter how tarnished it is, how much you have, or how long you’ve kept Granny’s best teapot on top of the wardrobe, I will clean it for you.
Just drop it off at my house in Swallow in the morning, and pick it up in the evening.
I charge around £12 for each hour of cleaning (including top quality materials) and will give you a sensible quote when I see the quantity and condition of what needs cleaning.
